The Amalgamation Agreement is a legal document that outlines the terms and conditions under which Northern Credit Union and Copperfin Credit Union agree to combine and operate as a single entity. The agreement covers various aspects of the amalgamation, including the rights and responsibilities of each party, the treatment of financial assets, governance structure, operational details, and any other relevant provisions necessary for the successful integration.

A Business Member (Corporation) is eligible to vote as per the Credit Union Bylaws and the Credit Union and Caisse Populaires Act 2020. Each Business Member will be entitled to one vote as a member. The vote may be cast by any one of the officers or directors of the company on its behalf. The Business Authorization Form must be completed in advance of voting delegating an individual to represent the Business in the voting process.
To declare a business proxy, please complete the following form and have it signed by the President or other head officer, Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer of the organization. Return the completed and signed form to the Returning Officer not later than 5:00 p.m. ET May 28, 2024, as follows:
